The role will support the Catering Services function and provide a professional and competent level of service to all customers working closely with the catering team to ensure that the agreed services are delivered on time to the required standards.
Working under the direction of the Hospitality Manager your main role will be the delivery, setup, and collection of all hospitality services.
You will be based in the Hospitality department but be flexible and able to work in any of the College outlets.

We are seeking a hospitality assistant for the Henriette Raphael Building on our Guys Campus. This hands-on role involves the delivery and arrangement of food and drinks, food service, and setting up and breaking down rooms for events.
The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of customer service and catering for hospitality and events. They will be a team player, driven by a passion for providing excellent customer service, and will demonstrate a flexible, positive approach along with excellent communication skills and an understanding of food hygiene regulations.
This full-time position requires flexibility, with a five-out-of-seven day work schedule, including evenings and weekends.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
1. Good written and verbal English.
2. Basic level of computer literacy (ability to access emails and online training).
3. Excellent at working as part of a team or alone.
4. Ability to complete multiple tasks at the same time.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Excellent time management skills.
7. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues and management team.
8. Good hazard awareness/ability to identify and report issues.
Desirable criteria
1. NVQ level 1 or equivalent catering qualification
2. Hold a current Food Handlers certificate.
