The role is a part of the Digital Solutions team, joining an established team to deliver the CRM solution within a SAFe environment.

About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for a full range of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution activities to support the IT strategy and the university wide vision. The Product Owner represents the ‘voice of the customer’ at the team level, maintaining and prioritising the Product Backlog to maximise the value the team delivers.

The role is a Product Owner within an agile team. In the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), the Product Owner (PO) plays a crucial role in maximising the value delivered by the Agile team. The PO is responsible for defining user stories and prioritising the team backlog to ensure alignment with customer and stakeholder needs. They will work with both business and IT stakeholders as well as being part of Dynamics agile teams and will be comfortable working on multiple workstreams.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an  indefinite contract.

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. 3+ years’ experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis, requirements gathering and backlog management 
  2. Understanding of Agile Methodologies and experience in backlog management 
  3. Delivery of show and tells and presentations to a varied stakeholder group 
  4. Proficiency of management of competing stakeholder, technical and service priorities 
  5. History of working within a project solutions environment including authorship of analysis, design and solutions documents  
  6. Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audience   
  7. Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  8. Ability to self-organise and detail oriented

Desirable criteria

  1. Experience in working within a SAFe Agile Environment 
  2. Product Owner or other Scrum Certification 
  3. Experience of working In Azure DevOps 
  4. Experience of working with Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform
