THIS VACANCY IS OPEN TO INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

About us:

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience is looking for a dynamic, proactive, and organised individual to join the Education Support Team as Programme Manager for Placements and Electives.

About the role:

The Programme Manager will have overall responsibility for the internal and external placement schemes offered by the institution and will direct the day-to-day operations of these areas, providing leadership and line management to the Placement and Electives Administrator. In addition to the ‘business as usual’ operational delivery the post holder will also be working closely with the Senior Programme Manager to support and manage specific projects, both within the faculty and wider college.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work collaboratively with others, to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Motivated by the challenges and opportunities facing higher education, highly organised and flexible in approach, the post holder will have proven skills in managing numerous tasks and prioritising workload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is attention to detail. Experience of online learning environments and the SITS/E:Vision student records database and the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) would also be beneficial.

Comfortable with working autonomously within defined boundaries, this role will suit a motivated individual who is keen to take the next step in their career.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a maternity cover contract for 12 months, or until the substantive postholder returns to post.

This post is based at the Denmark Hill Campus, and this is currently a hybrid working role, with a minimum requirement of two days in the office.
