This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and skilled individual to take a pivotal role in leading and enhancing student experience within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.
About the role:
The Senior Student Experience Manager plays a key role within the Education and Support Team (EST), leading and managing the development and implementation of strategies, policies and processes to enhance student experience within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.
Working closely with the Associate Director, Education, Dean of Education and other key stakeholders within the faculty, the post holder will lead in matters relating to Student Experience and Student Engagement within the faculty, developing and disseminating strategy and policy and informing best practice, in order to deliver a first-class student-centred experience.
Managing a team of 2, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the workload and responsibilities are appropriately distributed amongst the team, that key deadlines and Service Level Agreements are met.
This post is based at the Denmark Hill Campus, however travel to other campuses is required, and we operate a hybrid working policy, with a minimum requirement of two days working in the office.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a 12-month fixed term contract until end of August 2027.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or relevant vocational experience, demonstrating professional development and achievement in a series of roles with increased levels of responsibility.
- An understanding of sector and college policies and current issues relating to Student Experience, Student Engagement and Student Support and Wellbeing, and knowledge of safeguarding, mental health, and student support processes
- Experience of developing or delivering initiatives to improve Student Engagement, Student Support and/or Student Experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to network and create effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent time management with the ability to consistently produce high quality outputs
- Strong interpersonal skills including motivating, negotiating, influencing and networking throughout the College
- Proactive, positive and pragmatic approach and enthusiastic about interacting with students and positive about student diversity
- Excellent skills in motivating and performance managing a team, developing and maintaining a positive, proactive culture of continual review and development
