About the role
The Quality & Training Officer plays an integral role in supporting the onboarding of new programmes into King’s Digital’s online learning portfolio, with a focus on integration with the Student Success (KDSS) team. Working closely with academic, programme team and King’s Digital staff, the post-holder: coordinates processes; tracks progress; organises key activities; ensures clarity and understanding of roles & responsibilities; and more.
In addition to programme onboarding, the post-holder provides flexible project support across a range of operational and strategic initiatives within the Student Success team. This includes, but is not limited to, gathering and presenting information, monitoring timelines, and conducting process reviews and improvements. The Officer supports the creation and delivery of training and guidance within the Student Success team.
The Quality & Training Officer is a proactive and detail-focused member of the team, comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
They are organised and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 1 year.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Experience in project or administrative support in a professional services environment
- Strong organisational skills and high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including maintaining records and documentation
- Strong written and oral communicator, able to build relationships and articulate complex information and processes to a diverse range of stakeholders
- A commitment to exceptional student experience and an understanding of how operational and quality processes contribute to this
- Confident using digital tools (Microsoft Office 365, project tracking tools, collaborative platforms, SharePoint etc.)
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as a team
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity, always
Desirable criteria
- Experience supporting projects within a Higher Education environment
- Experience contributing to the development and delivery of training (online or in person)
- Experience supporting process mapping or service improvement initiatives
