Brazil: A traveller's perspective with Michael Palin

Renowned BBC presenter Michael Palin visited King's in April to give a talk on his experiences of Brazil while making his recent documentary series. Part of the King's answers lecture series, the talk explored areas such as Brazil's economy and politics - topics that are explored by the World questions|King's answers campaign at King's Brazil Institute.

Before the talk, Michael Palin spoke to Dr Jeff Garmany, from the Brazil Institute, about the things that surprised him most and the role the Institute is playing in developing stronger ties between the UK and Brazil.
