Did you know that Bengali or Bangal is one of the official languages in Sierra Leone?

Bengali is spoken by more than 210 million people as a first or second language. It is usually ranked about seventh in the world in terms of number of people who speak it as a first language. It is also the second most spoken language in India. Modern Bengali is the official language of West Bengal, Tripura and Bangladesh.

Our teachers of Bengali are highly qualified and experienced native speakers. They use their extensive knowledge of Bengali language, literature and culture to inspire and encourage students to progress in their learning and develop a high level of competence in the language.

Our people

Our teachers are native speakers and are well versed in the latest methodology and pedagogy of language teaching, also bringing an immersive cultural experience to the classroom. They use the communicative approach which encourages students to speak the language throughout the lesson, enabling students to quickly pick up the target language.
