Hebrew is a Semitic language of the Northern Central group. It was spoken in ancient Palestine, however, from the 3rd century BC it was used mainly as a religious and literary language, while spoken Hebrew was replaced by Aramaic. It was revived as a spoken language in the 19th and 20th centuries and is the official language of Israel.

Our Hebrew courses follow communicative, interactive lesson structure, enabling students to communicate in everyday situations both orally and in writing. We make specific emphasis on intercultural learning by providing insights into historical development of Hebrew, its religious and non-religious use, cultural diversity of Israeli people and historic and contemporary Israeli politics.
