By studying Arabic Level 6, you will be able to recognise the implicit meaning in written and spoken texts, be able to make presentations on various subjects, be able to express yourself spontaneously in complex situations, analyse written and/or spoken material and have improved your intercultural competence further by accessing political, historical and cultural information from a variety of sources.

What does this course cover?

Topics may include:

  • Collectivist culture in the Arab world
  • Family values between old and new times
  • Education and the implication of the job market
  • Changes in professions nature
  • Advantages and disadvantages of working remotely

Functions may include:

  • Discussing the nature of the collectivist society in the Arab world
  • Learning about Arabic family values and the changes of these values
  • Discussing the role of education and its implication on professional life
  • Discussing the new professions and its implications on the conventional ones
  • Discussing the advantages and disadvantages of working from home after the COVID 19

Grammar may includes:

  • New Verb forms
  • Understanding Roots and patterns
  • The passive form in the present tense
  • The passive form in weak verbs
  • The conditional tense

What will I achieve?

When Arabic Level 6 is complete, you will achieve the equivalent of C1 level of the CEFR.
