Bengali Level 1, Part 2

The course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Bengali. Ideally students should have completed 15 hours of tuition prior to joining Part 2 of the course.

This course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Bengali who have completed a Bengali Level 1 course with the King's Language Centre or the GCSE equivalent.

British Sign Language Level 1, Part 2

Greet people, use numbers, times and dates, describe the weather, people and activities. Ideally students should have completed 15 hours of tuition prior to joining Part 2 of the course.

Greet people, use numbers, times and dates, describe the weather, people and activities. Ideally students should have completed 30 hours of tuition prior to joining Part 3 of the course.

Understand general and detailed information and to communicate on a range of everyday issues. Ideally students should have completed Level 1 or an equivalent level.

French Level 1, Part 1

Build foundational French skills by learning the alphabet, days of the week, numbers, nationalities, and more. Practise how to do things like greet people and introduce yourself or others, share personal information and express yourself politely.

French Level 1, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive Course)

Speed up your French study with five weeks of intensive, three-hour evening lessons. At the end of the course, you’ll be able to greet people, talk about daily activities, find your way, tell the time and date, make simple purchases, order a meal, understand very simple oral and written texts and comprehend specific information on simple topics.

French Level 1, Part 1 (one-week intensive)

This course is ideal for complete beginners. You will be able to understand very simple oral and written texts and ascertain specific information on simple topics.

French Level 1, Part 2

Understand how to formulate questions with est-ce que and qu’est-ce que and use à and de prepositions before countries and places. Learn the present tense verbs venir, boire, vouloir, mettre, and prendre, and things like adjective agreements and quantities. Start working with the passé composé and imperfect past tenses.

French Level 1, Part 3

Move on to the present tense with pouvoir, devoir and reflexive verbs, and use the ‘il faut’ expression of obligation. Continue studying the past tense, and start learning the future tense. Practice how to apply for a job, talk about your hobbies, discuss your health, and much more.
