Law, Arts and Culture
Since moving to Somerset House East Wing in 2012, the Dickson Poon School of Law has established a series of art exhibitions and educational displays that make the most of its unique space and teaching environment. The Law, Arts and Culture Programme has now developed to include an Honorary Artist scheme as well as special projects curated by our academics in support of their research.
In 2016, a Student Network was also established as an informal committee allowing students of all levels to take part in the Programme, curating exhibitions and events.
Information on our projects – MyLondon and The Itinerary – feature on these pages. You can also read about other past projects, including: For Pity is the Virtue of the Law, Portraits of a Global Law School, Law Courts of the World, and Magna Carta and the Rule of Law.
These projects all sought to develop the university’s space at Somerset House while supporting its engagement with its community of students, staff and alumni across a range of initiatives and celebrations.
