King’s Vision 2029 sets out our ambition to be a civic university at the heart of London, working in partnership to serve, support and sustain local communities.

Our staff, students and alumni already work closely with local schools, charities, local authorities and voluntary organisations in both formal and informal partnerships. Across King’s, our world-leading researchers are working on questions directly relevant to the issues our local communities face: questions about inequality of opportunity and access to education, about health and healthcare provision, about the local economy and about how local communities best thrive.

We are supporting staff, students and communities to build on these foundations. By bringing together the lived experience of local communities, the research strengths of our academics and the energy and curiosity of our students, we know we can do even more to address these shared challenges.

These webpages draw together existing opportunities for our local communities, businesses and organisations while King’s Civic Charter sets out our commitment to London and the communities in which we make our home.
