King’s Vision 2029 sets out our ambition to be a civic university at the heart of London, working in partnership to serve, support and sustain local communities.
Our staff and students already work closely with local communities and schools, but we know we can do more collectively to strengthen connections and address shared challenges.
Across King’s, our world-leading researchers are working on questions directly relevant to the issues our local communities face: education and attainment, health and wellbeing, supporting business and enterprise and strengthening community resilience.
We want to support staff and students to build on this, listening to the needs of residents, local authorities, charities, voluntary organisations and community groups and working together to identify opportunities for partnership.
Our news pages and case studies highlight examples of projects and programmes already under way and King’s Civic Charter sets out our commitment to London and the communities in which we make our home.
