King's London Collective

Faith and religion

London is a city that has faith and religion visible across its built environment – churches, mosques, synagogues and temples are at the heart of its diverse communities and serve as symbols of London’s history of migrant and refugee communities.

King’s scholars examine the role of faith and religion in London through the lenses of identity, change, history and culture. They are at the forefront of the teaching and curriculum development of religious studies and theology and a leading voice on how faith and religion have shaped and continue to shape London and its communities.
