Celebrating LGBT History Month

LGBT History MonthLGBT History Month is a month-long annual observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It is observed during February, to coincide with a major celebration of the 2003 abolition of Section 28, a law introduced 1988, which banned local authorities from portraying homosexuality in a positive light.

The Faculty Diversity & Inclusion Team works closely with the University LGBT+ Staff Network to celebrate LGBT History Month.
