Enhancing your degree
International Exchange programme
Our International Exchange Programme gives you the chance to study abroad at another of the world’s premier institutions as part of your degree. You can apply to spend a year at one of our partner institutions. Exchanges offer great academic and personal rewards, letting you experience an academic system that may provide a different perspective on your area of study or the option to study courses not offered at King’s. Of course, there are also personal advantages such as meeting new friends, and being able to explore a different country and its culture.
King's Exchange Programme Partner Universities

Summer Vacation Studentships
The School of Bioscience Education sponsors a number of studentships for summer vacation placements. The placements, which are usually hosted by King’s Academic Divisions, offer invaluable experience of working in a productive and modern research laboratory, and are of particular interest to students who wish to develop careers in research.
We support our students who wish to gain vacation work experience by collating and sharing details of external organisations that offer or fund summer studentships. Advice on presentation of job applications and the writing of CVs is also available for those applying for employment or research studentships during their programme of study.
