A successful year for the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine

Posted on 21/12/2016

2016 has been a successful year for the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine.

There were a number of official new ‘beginnings’ this year including the opening of the £160 million Cancer Centre at Guy’s Hospital, and the Francis Crick Institute, both of which will help pave the way for our staff and students to continue to make even greater contributions to science and medicine in the future.

The achievements of our staff and students have been widely recognised through a number of awards and accolades including Queen’s Birthday Honours, Fellowship to Royal Society and students being named among the most influential in London.

Season’s Greetings to all our staff, students and friends, and all good wishes for a happy and successful 2017.

Please note that King’s will be closed from 4pm on 22 December 2016 and will re-open on Tuesday 3 January 2017.
