Students and education
In August, the Faculty announced more young people could now benefit from our extended medical degree programme. Expanding eligibility means that we can young people with the capability - but not necessarily the usual background - become doctors and medical leaders of the future. Full story here.
In October, the Faculty expanded its education offerings thanks to the launch of a new undergraduate programme in Sports & Exercise Medical Sciences which will take its first students in September 2018.
Throughout the year we have been celebrating success of our Faculty’s staff and students. From Promotions, Inaugural lectures, teaching excellence awards and more recently our Faculty success at the recent King’s awards, there has been a lot to celebrate. Congratulations to our colleagues who have been recognised in awards this year.
Season’s Greetings to all our staff, students and friends, and good wishes for a happy and successful 2018.
Please note that King’s will be closed from 4pm on 21 December 2017 and will re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
