Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting Facility
The Programme in Infection & Immunity (PII) Flow Cytometry Facility offers a variety of services to internal and external users. Both self-service flow cytometry and operator-assisted cell sorting is available on our machines.
We currently operate two analytical flow cytometers and one cell-sorter.

The analytical machines can be used unassisted (and outside normal hours) and therefore represent good value for those familiar with flow cytometry, though you are always welcome to ask for advice! We will also offer training to users as required.
The cell sorter machines are run by us as a service, and we can also run analytical samples on behalf of the user (charged at the cell sorting rate).
The flow cytometry suite is situated in the Peter Gorer Department of Immunobiology on the 3rd floor, Borough Wing (Guy's Hospital) - access is via the 2nd floor.
