Anton graduated with a BSc degree in Biochemistry with Biology from Keele University in 2011. He travelled during 2012 and undertook a MSc in Immunology at King’s College London in 2013 and graduated with Distinction in 2014. In October 2015 Anton started as a PhD student in the Taams lab on an Arthritis Research UK funded studentship. His project is entitled “Investigating the role of miRNAs in inflammatory arthritis” and focuses on how specific miRNAs expressed in monocytes and macrophages from joints affected by rheumatoid arthritis may contribute to its pathogenesis.
