Sarah completed her Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol in 2015, followed by a Research Master’s at the University of Bath in Regenerative Medicine in 2016. During 2016-2017 she worked at the University of Reading as a Research Assistant as part of an anti-thrombotic drug discovery project.

Sarah joined the department as part of both the Taams and Cope labs in March 2018.

Taams lab: Processing, banking and analysis of blood and synovial fluid samples in order to detect IL-17+ CD8+ T cells present in arthritic joints.

Cope lab: Processing, banking and analysis of blood and lymph node biopsy samples as part of ongoing clinical trials within the Oncology and Rheumatology departments of Guy’s Hospital.
