Watch new video on public health in the MBBS curriculum
Posted on 07/11/2016
Traditionally, public health education has been a late addition, if included at all, in medical degree curriculums. At the Institute of Urban Population Health and Care, public health education is changing.
Watch as Professor Stuart Carney, Professor Peter Littlejohns, Dr Ingrid Wolfe, Dr Danny Ruta and students talk of how important public health education is and how the GKT School of Medical Education is equipping the next generation of doctors with the leadership skills to transform mental and physical healthcare in the UK and the world.
The Institute of Urban Population Health and Care is a King's Health Partners initiative and the co-ordinating centre is the King’s College London Division of Health and Social Care research. It leads a collaborative network across KHP Trusts, King’s academic Departments and Divisions, NIHR Infrastructures and the Boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
