The King's College London Engineering Society is the oldest collegiate society of its kind in the world. Founded in 1847, the society is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students at King's. Whether you are an engineer or not, being part of KCLES allows you to become part of a prestigious and historic establishment.
Following the successful rebranding of King’s College London Engineering Society (KCLES), our charismatic new committee hopes to bring more energy to continue this legacy of success. Our objective remains providing members access to the latest information and events within the field of engineering, while exposing them to new fields which align with their interests.
The society offers established connections with engineering organisations, who provide a vast choice of career opportunities. These include summer internships, short work placements and career talks. Furthermore, society members enjoy the chance to network and meet with the distinguished Kings College London Engineering Alumni. The alumni possess knowledge and expertise that will give members a valuable insight into what a career in engineering may look like.
Member’s in their First Year of study will have the benefit of being assigned a second or third year “buddy” who will be able to support and advise members throughout the academic year.
Additionally, the society also offer a range of social events such as quiz nights, pub crawls, parties and casual meet-ups (drinks) at Guy’s Bar. Not to mention the Natural Mathematical Sciences (NMS) Boat Party, which is undeniably the highlight of the year.
Follow us on social media to keep up-to-date with everything KCLES and we look forward to welcoming you into the KCLES family!
