Our The school is located on Lambeth Walk, next to the Imperial War museum and a short walk away from King’s College London’s Waterloo campus and within walking distance of the Strand Campus.
The closest train station is London Waterloo, which has both overground and underground transport links.
Please note that Lambeth North tube station is closed until February 2017.
Our address is:
80 Kennington Road,
The main building, pictured below, is a historic building that was once Lambeth Baths. A second building is located just a few metres away with an entrance on Kennington Road. The two buildings together create the sense of a campus.
A complete interior refurbishment of the buildings was completed in 2014 prior to the school opening, and the buildings now provide a connected, spacious environment featuring well-appointed and varied learning spaces which encourage communication and creativity.
There are five large classrooms, two modern science laboratories, a dedicated computing suite, a library and numerous student work spaces. The school also features a design laboratory equipped with construction tools that include a 3D printer and a laser cutter: it is in the design laboratory where students can develop and test their ideas. Students will be able to collaborate closely in the numerous group rooms and break-out spaces which surround the core teaching and learning areas.
At the heart of the school is a cafeteria connecting the various spaces, well-lit by the attractive windows at the front of the building, where students can share their ideas and relax.
Lambeth North tube station, on the Bakerloo line, is a 5 minute walk from the school. Waterloo and Elephant & Castle stations are also within easy walking distance.
