Duration: 15 hours Overview By studying Arabic Level 2, you will be able to understand general and detailed information, communicate in standard speech on a range of everyday issues, be able to read printed and handwritten script on a limited number of everyday topics, be able to write simple texts using descriptive language accurately and have developed intercultural competence. What does this course cover? Topics may include: Travel and tourism Food and cooking At the grocer’s At the restaurant Clothes and colours The weather and seasons Cultural information Arab feasts: Ramadan and Eid Simple blogs Functions may include: Asking for directions Writing a letter of complaint Talking about food Using means of transport Talking about and expressing preference for colours and clothes Giving one’s opinion Grammar may include: Review of past tense Review of verb to be in the past Verb forms Doubled verbs Relative pronouns Adverbs Review of verbal nouns What will I achieve?
