New Digital Humanities Game Lab Gaming Room in Chesham 5.06

The Digital Humanities Game Lab (DHGL) has been granted a permanent space in the Chesham Building — room C5.06.

This DHGL Gaming Room is managed by Dr Feng Zhu, Dr David Young, and Dr Orcun Can.

Students and researchers who would like access to our digital games library are able to book 1-hour (or longer) gaming slots. Please direct enquiries to: dhgamelab@kcl.ac.uk

Many games require a considerable time investment to be experienced. Here, at the Gaming Room, we enable students to have that time. We also provide guidance where there may be a steep learning curve and facilitate students becoming comfortable enough with the challenges to arrive at a form of critical playing. We currently have a wide range of consoles and gaming laptops available, as well as a growing games library.

Students interested in researching streaming will also be able to use the DHGL Gaming Room to experiment with streaming their gameplay.
