Public have more fear than hope on AI and future of work, study finds
A majority of the UK public are worried about the economic impacts of AI
At King’s, our research shows we are already seeing the early impact of AI on the UK job market and there is an urgent need for coordinated interventions across education, training and workforce development. Our AI and Workforce Futures programme is a direct response to the challenges presented by the changing nature of work, highlighting the need for world‑leading AI research and the importance of interdisciplinary strengths as we prepares for the future of work. And building on our first King's AI Summit on Workforce Futures this year, we will be continuing to convene senior leaders from government, business, unions and academia to tackle urgent questions about the impact of AI on jobs, skills, expertise, inequality and the quality of work.
