Celebrating a stellar year in the School of Politics and Economics

There was cause for celebration this week as the School of Politics and Economics hosted its annual awards.

The event saw outstanding students and staff from across the school celebrated for their ongoing contribution to research, study, and the wider community.

More than 90 nominations were received this year covering the Department of Political Economy, Department of European and International Studies, and the King’s Russia Institute, with 12 awards handed out in total.

Professor Linda McKie, executive dean of the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy, welcomed guests to Bush House for the event, with Dr Virginia Preston, Dr Rod Dacombe, Professor Rosie Campbell and Professor Sofia Vasilopoulou handing out the awards.
