King’s Careers & Employability has been shortlisted for two prestigious accolades at the 2026 targetjobs National Emerging Talent Awards:

  • Best University Employability Strategy, sponsored by Clifford Chance
  • HE Careers and Employability Team of the Year, sponsored by HSBC

The Awards, which are the largest early careers awards in the UK, are a highly regarded annual event, attracting over 100,000 votes from undergraduates, apprentices and school leavers, alongside expert judging panels of graduate employers and industry leaders who determine each winner.

The Best University Employability Strategy award celebrates higher education institutions that are leading the way in ensuring their students are well equipped to realise their potential. It recognises innovative, inclusive and impactful strategies that support undergraduates in navigating career choices, securing graduate roles and successfully transitioning into employment.

The HE Careers and Employability Team of the Year award recognises a department, committee or special project team that has made a significant impact or achieved exceptional results over the past year. Judges look for teams that have overcome challenges, harnessed the strengths of their members and collaborated effectively with partners to deliver high-quality outcomes, demonstrating excellence in service to the wider higher education community.

King’s is shortlisted alongside leading universities from across the UK, with winners to be announced at the 2026 ceremony, held in front of distinguished guests from across the early careers sector at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London this April.

Being recognised in two categories reflects the continued dedication, innovation and collaborative spirit of the King’s Careers & Employability team, as well as its ongoing commitment to empowering students to achieve their ambitions.
