King’s has once again been named a world-leading university in the prestigious QS rankings, which evaluate 8,808 institutions, and publish rankings of 1,504, across ten indicators including academic reputation, sustainability, international research network, and employment outcomes.

This year, more universities than ever were included in the final rankings, in which King’s was in the UK top 10, and global top 50, for several key areas.

King’s has once again demonstrated that at its heart lies a firm commitment to academic excellence, remaining in the top 50 global universities (44^th) and top 10 in the UK (7^th) for academic reputation, with an evaluation score of over 99%.

The rankings show that employability prospects for King’s students are also among the best in the world, with 95% of graduates in employment 10-15 months after finishing their studies – ranking 8^th best in the UK of nearly 100 institutions. Employers also think highly of those who do join their organisation with a degree from King’s, with the employer reputation indicator moving up three places to rank 62^nd worldwide and 10^th in the UK.

King’s also once again demonstrated its firm commitment to sustainability, ranking 17^th in this key indicator globally – an increase from having been placed 44^th in 2024 thanks to new environmental sustainability and governance measures.

The results follow the QS subject rankings, released in March 2026, in which King’s celebrated a record 26 subjects ranked in the top 50 worldwide, being named the best place in the UK to study Nursing (second in the world) and second best for Dentistry (fifth in the world).
