The London Peer Network for Homelessness Social Workers was launched today.

The Homelessness Research Programme within HSCWRU at King’s was delighted to host the first meet-up of this pan-London Community of Practice. It brings together specialist social workers from London boroughs, NHS and third sector organisations who work with people experiencing rough sleeping or homelessness and multiple disadvantage.

A Homelessness Research Programme study explored the impact and support needs of this important role, finding that it remains rare, and often isolated with no peer support, which prompted the establishment of this network.
