A record 10 King's students have successfully become finalists for the prestigious targetjobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards which celebrate the best of undergraduate talent across the careers and employability arena, with two categories still being finalised.

The total places King's as the second most represented institution across all the nomination categories currently published, and comes after seven students were shortlisted in 2025.

King's alum Lily Gregory won Engineering Undergraduate of the Year in 2024 and the University continues to be one of the most strongly represented across the last few years at the Awards.

The targetjobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards is an annual competition aimed at finding the best undergraduates in the UK. Each award is partnered by a prominent graduate recruiter who provides a fantastic prize for the winner, which could include a paid internship, a trip abroad or other exclusive opportunities.

This year's ceremony takes place on Friday 24 April in London's Canary Wharf and will be hosted by Candy Kittens co-founder and television personality, Jamie Laing.

Congratulations to the King's students named as finalists this year - they have all demonstrated considerable skill and expertise in their respective categories and we wish them all the best of luck for the Awards later in April.

Andrew Wright, Associate Director (Employer Engagement & Work-based Learning)
