Nominations for annual SPE Awards open!
Do you know someone in the School of Politics and Economics whose hard work, achievements, or contributions deserve to be celebrated?
Now is your chance to nominate them for the 2026 SPE Awards.
The annual ceremony returns on 26 March and will once again see the accomplishments of students, academics, and professional services staff across the school celebrated. This event shines a spotlight on outstanding research, extracurricular excellence, and the individuals who help make the SPE community thrive.
This year’s award categories are:
- Outstanding Student Achievement of the Year
- Society of the Year
- PGR Award
- Academic Staff Award
- Graduate Teaching Assistant Award
- Research Achievement Award
- Professional Services Staff Award
Nominations close on 27 February at 17.00.
You may nominate one person per form. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel, and shortlisted nominees will be contacted with details about the ceremony. More information about each award category is available in the awards pack here.
