Professor of Econophysics Tiziana Di Matteo appointed Chief Editor of prestigious academic journal

Professor Tiziana Di Matteo, Professor of Econophysics in the Department of Mathematics, has been appointed Chief Editor of Advances in Mathematical Physics.

Established in 1997, Advances in Mathematical Physics is a peer-reviewed journal with a focus on theoretical physics and mathematics. In addition to original research, it also features review articles which explore emerging trends and future directions for developing fields.  Tiziana will lead an editorial board comprised of fellow outstanding figures in the arena, with an aim to encourage high-quality submissions and increase the journal’s visibility within the research community across the globe.

At King’s, Tiziana’s research interests are centred upon Econophysics, complex systems, complex networks and Data science. She is also currently serving in an editorial capacity for an array of other notable journals, including the Journal of Network Theory in Finance, the European Physical Journal B and the Artificial Intelligence in Finance Journal.

On her appointment to Advances in Mathematical Physics, Tiziana commented:

“I am honoured to be appointed Chief Editor and play a key role within the journal. This will allow me to help in fostering, strengthening and fortifying the strategic directions of the journal as well as promote new ones. I look forward to the challenges that such a role requires and look forward to collaborating with all members of our prestigious Editorial Board.
