SPIRIT in Care - new guide

Supporting Personal needs, Identity, Relationships and Inner Topics that give meaning and purpose

As part of the SpiritDem project, Olivia Luijnenburg developed the SPIRIT in Care guide: a practical resource to help care home staff recognise and respond to the spiritual needs of residents. The guide helps those who work or live in a care home reflect on spirituality and what spiritual needs of residents are and how they can be considered. Part of the SPIRIT in Care guide is the 'Gallery of Spiritualities', a collection of photographs giving tangibility to the spiritual needs of care home residents.

The SPIRIT in Care guide (PDF) and the webpage Gallery of Spiritualities are now live on the HSCWRU website. Get in touch with Olivia if you'd like to learn more.
