Outreach

We aim to foster interest in science, technology and engineering in the general public, and in particular to foster such interest in school-age students.

The faculty and departments participate in a wide range of outreach activities and run a variety of outreach events, both at a local and international level.

We run a series of free lectures for school students and the general public; for example, the Christmas Lectures, Daniell Lectures and Annual Higgs Lecture. At these lectures you will hear cutting-edge science from researchers at King's College London and be able to interact with current students.

We also run a selection of activities such as open access labs, summer schools, work experience and a maths club for A-level students.

In addition, King's College London Mathematics School is run in partnership with King's College London University, to provide high quality mathematics education in the heart of London. The school is for students who have a fascination for mathematics.
