Dr Nishanth Sastry hosts meeting of the IEEE 1903 Standard Working Group

Dr. Nishanth Sastry, a Lecturer at the Centre for Telecommunications Research in the Department of Informatics, hosted a meeting of the IEEE 1903 Standards Working Group from Sep 18-20, 2014. This group is developing the standards for next-generation Service Overlay Networks, focusing on Content Delivery, Service Composition and Self Organisation. The IEEE is the world's largest professional society, and through its Standards Association, develops global standards in a broad range of fields including Information and Communication Technologies. This meeting is being supported by the EPSRC-funded CD-GAIN project led by Dr. Nishanth Sastry.
