Communication: How We Contact You

Email

The Department’s main mode of communication with students is via email, so once you are issued with your King’s ITS username it is extremely important that you check your email account regularly.

Access your email on the web via King's Webmail.

Please note that we will not send emails to you at addresses other than your College email address (firstname.surname@kcl.ac.uk).

We will always aim to respond to any emails within 3 working days.

Change in contact details

It is important to keep the College up to date if your contact details change during the course of your studies, please inform us of this via Student Records.

If you fail to receive an important communication because you have failed to read your emails or failed to keep your address up to date, then you must accept responsibility for any problems that may arise as a result.

When you contact us

As already mentioned you must use your  King's email address when corresponding with staff. It is also important that you include your student number in all correspondence, particularly if it involves your student record, so that we can easily look up the relevant information.

If you have any correspondence for a member of staff, you can leave it with your Programme Administrator who will ensure that it is delivered.
