Internships for Undergraduate Students
Internship Opportunities for KCL Undergraduate Students
There are a number of internships available to students at King's.
Department of Physics Funded Internships
The Department of Physics offers three to four paid internships every year to students who are:
- currently enrolled on a Physics programme at King's College London,
- not in either their first or final year.
The projects usually run for six-eight weeks over the summer with students receiving a stipend of around £250 per week for the duration of the internship. Successful candidates work with academic staff on areas of genuine cutting-edge research.
A list of projects for 2018 is available here.
We recommend students speak to the project supervisor before applying.

Specific projects are offered by members of academic staff from across King’s Faculties and Institutes. All of the Undergraduate Fellows are paid a stipend. The roles vary widely and can include laboratory work, conducting interviews, or
undertaking a literature review.
