The Department of Physics is a popular choice for students from other universities who wish to undertake an internship at King’s College London. Often such internships last for up to three months and such visitors will work with academic staff on areas of genuine cutting-edge research.
We regret that there is no financial assistance available for internships but we welcome enquires from candidates who have secured their own funding for an internship. You may wish to check http://www.iaeste.org.uk/ which is an organisation linked to the British Council which runs a scheme based on international internships.
Current opportunities for internships in the Department of Physics are advertised here as they become available. Please read the advert carefully and apply with copy of your CV and a full academic transcript as well as the names of your academic referees. If there is nothing that suits you currently, do check back.
If you are a current KCL Physics student the Department also runs an internship programme providing funded positions. The application and selection process is different, details can be found on the student internship webpage.
