St George's Healthcare NHS Trust
St George's Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the UK's largest teaching hospitals with an international reputation for education and research. It provides general, specialist and tertiary services both locally and nationally. St George’s were named Dr Foster Large Trust of the Year 2009.
With over 6,000 staff and around 1,000 beds, St George's serves a population of 1.3 million across South West London. The Trust has recently integrated with Wandsworth Community Services so will be providing integrated acute and community health services for the local population.
The Trust provides accident and emergency, maternity services and care for older people and children, and specialist care for the most complex of injuries and illnesses, including neurology, cardiac care, renal transplantation, cancer care and has been designated as both a specialist stroke centre and specialist trauma centre.
