Abraham Ali is a Lead Analyst (GC Technologies) in the Department of Analytical, Environmental & Forensic Sciences, School of Population Health & Environmental Sciences.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages the GC-technologies (GC-MS; GC-MS/MS, GC-C-IRMS etc.) team of analysts to work towards agreed objectives of the Drug Control Centre
- Ensures any GC-relevant confirmations are performed to the necessary standard and within the required timescale
- Athlete Passport Management Unit manager
