Lecturer in Economics and Policy

Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics and Policy at the Department of Political Economy, King's College London, and a non-resident fellow at the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability, Monash University (Australia). Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Professorship of Economics, Technical University of Munich (Germany).

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Southampton (UK), an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Southampton (UK), and a BSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London (UK). My main research interest lies in the field of development economics, particularly on the causes and consequences of ethnic discrimination and mental health, education in rural communities, and the economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic in developing countries.
