Biography

I graduated from King’s College London in 2023 with a master's degree in Electronic Engineering with Management. I now work as the Strategic Cost Management Lead at McLaren Automotive

I had some prior experience in the automotive industry before joining the course, and I was keen to continue my career in this field. As part of my studies, I completed a research project called Supply Chain Simulator in which I studied and developed a system for supply chain traceability for electric vehicle batteries. The project focused on the entire journey of an electric vehicle battery, from raw material mining through to delivery to the customer.

The hands-on projects and practical experiences I gained during the course — both in applying technical skills and developing management skills — played a key role in building my confidence. Working on real-world problems in a hands-on environment has prepared me to tackle challenges in my career.

The professors on the course are like superheroes. They are highly knowledgeable, extremely supportive and always encourage students to take part in research initiatives.

In terms of finding employment, the King’s Careers team does a phenomenal job. They organised career fairs, networking events and a wide range of workshops, including resume writing and interview preparation sessions. These workshops significantly boosted my confidence during my final interview.

In addition, the hands-on projects and practical experiences throughout the course — both technical and management skills — have given me the confidence to tackle challenges in my career.
