Alberto Ballesteros is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Science and Security Studies (CSSS). Alberto holds an MA in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London. He earned his BA at the Pontifical Comillas University Madrid in 2019, with a joint degree in International Relations and Business Administration and Management.
Alberto is also a contributor to the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, as well as other publications specialised in International Affairs, like El Orden Mundial, where he writes about the political and security dynamics of East and South Asia.
Previously, he worked at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research in Singapore, where he carried out research on violent extremism in Spain and North Africa.
