Biography

Alex is a Visiting Lecturer in criminal law at The Dickson Poon School of Law. His primary interests are human rights law, public law and criminal law. He is currently undertaking his DPhil in Law at the University of Oxford.

He was previously the Judicial Assistant to Lord Sales at the UK Supreme Court and then the Head Judicial Assistant to the President, Lord Reed. Alex previously worked at the European Court of Human Rights, first in the Office of the President and then as a Lawyer in the UK Division. He has also worked as a solicitor at Latham & Watkins LLP in London.

He holds an LLB from the University of Southampton, the BCL from the University of Oxford and an LLM from NYU School of Law.
