Biography
Alicia Sandall is a postdoctoral research associate specialising in the nutritional management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). She was recently awarded a PhD, investigating the role of food additives in Crohn’s disease from King's College London. Other research interests include nutrition assessment in IBD, exclusive enteral nutrition, pre-operative nutrition, and novel diets in IBD. Alicia also practices clinically as a senior gastroenterology dietitian in the NHS and private practice.
