Biography

Anastasia Allayioti joined the Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance, King's Business School as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2021.

Anastasia holds a PhD in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Warwick. Before joining King's, she previously interned at the International Monetary Fund and was a trainee at the European Central Bank. She also holds a degree in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Manchester and another in Financial Engineering from Imperial College London.

Her research interests lay in the broad area of time-series econometric methods, focusing on modelling and forecasting macroeconomic and financial variables.
