Biography

After graduating with a BSc in Neuroscience and MSc in Psychological Science from the University of Glasgow, I spent a year working in the Mental Health Sector, mainly with adults suffering from severe mental illness. During this time, I worked in patient-facing roles within both the public and third sector.  From spending time working in patient-facing roles, I formed a strong interest in the link between mental and physical wellbeing, and how the two may be supported simultaneously in a clinical context. This led me to pursue an opportunity within the field, and I joined KCL in December 2022 as a Research Assistant within the Centre for Implementation Science for the Integrating Mental and Physical Health Systems (IMPHS) programme. The programme seeks to improve the physical health of people using mental health services, in various different innovative, yet practical, ways.
