Biography

Dr. Cem Boke is a Research Assistant at Project Alpha at King's College London. He is an ex-military professional with substantial experience in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems and payloads. Before KCL, he worked for NATO Intelligence Fusion Centre as the Deputy Chief of Analysis Division. He managed the production plan and content editing process to ensur the quality of long term socio-economic, security and political assessments of 5 regional (Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, South Asia, Eurasia) and 2 cross-regional thematic branches (Strategic Branch and Counter Intelligence/Counter Terrorism/Cyber Security). He holds a Master of Science in Operations Research (Industrial Engineering) from U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio and PhD obtained from Political Science and International Studies Department of University of Birmingham. His PhD research was about U.S. Foreign Policy and The Crises in Libya and Syria: A Neo-classical Realist (NCR) Explanation of American Intervention.
