Dr Cher Bass is a Post-Doctoral researcher at School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences. Her research focuses on development interpertable deep learning models for detecting differences in 3D brain MRI. In particular, the project focuses on building sensitive models of cognitive development and developmental outcome for prematurely born babies from data collected for the Developing Human Connectome Project (dHCP).

She is also a teaching assistant on the Machine Learning for Biomedical Applications course (6CCYB064) and Advanced Machine Learning course (7MRI0010).
